Waste and collection of waste equipment
Information on the collection system for waste electrical and electronic equipment.
- We would like to inform you that the distributor is obliged to take back waste equipment from households at the point of sale free of charge, provided that the waste equipment is of the same type and has performed the same functions as the equipment sold.
- A distributor, when supplying equipment intended for households to a purchaser, is obliged to take back used household equipment free of charge at the place of supply of that equipment, provided that the used equipment is of the same type and has performed the same functions as the supplied equipment.
- Shops with a sales area for household equipment of min. 400 m2, are obliged to accept at this unit or in its immediate vicinity, free of charge, used household equipment, none of whose external dimensions exceeds 25 cm, without having to purchase new household equipment.
- Waste equipment from households whose dimensions exceed 25 cm may be taken to: Częstochowskie Przedsiębiorstwo Komunalne ul. Konwaliowa 1, Sobuczyna, 42-263 Wrzosowa.
- Information on the nearest waste equipment collection point can be found on the municipality's website or the Town Hall notice board, as well as on the website: www.bip.czestochowa.pl
- The holder of waste equipment from households is obliged to hand it over to a waste equipment collector or an entity authorised to collect waste equipment.
- By separating and submitting used equipment for treatment, recovery, recycling and disposal, you protect the environment from pollution and contamination and contribute to reducing the use of natural resources and the cost of producing new equipment.
- Do not place waste electrical and electronic equipment together with other waste.
- Symbol of the crossed-out The waste container on the products informs you that waste electrical and electronic equipment (hereafter also "waste equipment" or "electro-waste") may not be disposed of with household waste. Disposing of electro-waste in the container poses a risk to the environment.
